Being only a kilometer or two from the new southern gate (matyholweni) of the Addo Elephant Park makes game viewing an easy choice, or take a boat ride down to the river mouth… a paradise of sun, sand and sea.

Whatever your interests, whether fishing, watersports, sightseeing or just relaxing, you´ll find the Happy Jackal to be in the perfect spot.

The Happy Jackal offers a choice of five luxurious double en-suite rooms, all with stunning river views.Guests may choose from ground-floor rooms with private entrances and garden patios, or impressively large and comfortable thatched upstairs rooms, one of which has its own outside thatched deck. All rooms enjoy upmarket facilities.

Rates: from R350-R420 per person per night sharing incl. breakfast. Breakfast will include: Fruit juice, Fresh fruit salad, Yogurt, a selection of cereals and muesli, English breakfast (e.g.bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes etc.), Home baked bread, Home made jams and marmalades, Coffee (Happy Jackal blend) and selection of teas. Evening meal: R85.00 per person - Home-cooked meal with dessert. Vegetables and salads are from our organic garden. Game is often on the menu. (Dinner is by arrangement only).
