The Villa is placed in a quiet residential quarter with a lovely ‘village’ feel within a short stroll of the centre of Cape Town and a large number of its best restaurants.

Dating back to the late 1800’s the new building has been refurbished and decorated in a sophisticated contemporary style which has been dubbed “African Zen”. The house has the feel of an intimate boutique hotel because of its sophisticated African décor and generous facilities but the unique layout allows you to feel as though you are the guest of old friends on an urban safari.

We have 13 guest rooms in different classes (Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze). In each room: Air conditioning/heating - Flat screen TV - Satellite TV (news, sports, movies) - Complimentary WiFi access - Hair Dryer - Tea/coffee station with cookies - Electronic safe - Luxury cotton percale linen – wakeup calls for an early start.

In the house: an honesty bar fridge - complimentary cake – help yourself port and sherry in the evenings - two computer stations for free emailing and browsing – breakfast packs for early departures.

A hearty farmhouse breakfast is on offer in the large dining room or out in the courtyard, with help-yourself juices, freshly made fruit salad, cereals, yoghurts, cheese and variations on a theme of muffins, scones, croissants and home-made cakes. No other meals are served but there are dozens of excellent restaurants within walking distance - trendy Kloof street is a 5-minute stroll. Limited kitchen facilities are available for guest's use – for those evenings when a sandwich or salad and glass of wine at home are more inviting.

Rates: from R475-R700 per person per night sharing depending on type of room and season. Breakfast and free internet access included.
