The Franschhoek Travellers' Lodge was once the village school's boarding house. Today it still provides true home-style accommodation that has made it a local landmark and a well-loved destination for international visitors.

Facilities include:

Lounge and Pub: Large, comfortable lounge with TV and DStv and a cash pub serving light meals. This room can also be used as a conference room for small to medium sized groups.

Dining Room and Conference Hall: Large hall used primarily as a dining room but can double as a conference hall for medium to large groups. Breakfast is served daily.

Outdoor Barbecue Area: Large open top enclosure available for outdoor functions.

Kitchen: A well-stocked kitchen for hire to large groups or for special occasions with enough crockery and cutlery for 100 settings.
