Would You like to sleep in a "National Monument"? Our house in Cape Victorian Style, was the townhouse from Mr. Reitz, the governor in the early ages of 1900. Family Reitz lived actuality on a farm. They only came on special days and church days to the town, where they lived for a few days in "our" house.

That was long ago, but still today the atmosphere is like in the old days.

So enjoy the evening in our beautiful lounge with an open fireplace.

Your breakfast will be served outside on the terrace under the thatch roof

You can even cook your own meal in our Lodge kitchen, or have a nice braai in our wonderful garden.

We can also offer You day tours in an airconditioned Minibus around Swellendam.

Would you like to stay in one of our Cape Dutch Style Selfcatering Cottages? All cottages have a lounge with a integrated kitchen, a separate sleeping room, with one Double bed or two single beds and a bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equiped and a Supermarket opposite our accommodation. We can offer you facilitis to have a nice braai in the garden.

You can also have the possibility to change the sofas into beds for the children. Bedding on request.
