Kuname River Lodge is a small, unashamedly exclusive, luxury safari lodge set in about 9,000 hectares of pristine African bush, in the Edeni Private Game Reserve. We are only 45 minutes drive from the world-famous Kruger National Park in South Africa

Bordered by the towering Drakensberg escarpment on the west and set in game-rich, lush, riverine vegetation, the facility offers a variety of breathtaking views, diverse landscapes and some of the best big five game-viewing opportunities in southern Africa.

Each morning before the fiery sunrise paints the sky and every evening before the sun sets, an experienced, highly-qualified, field guide and tracker takes guests on unhurried game drives in our open game vehicle to seek out and get close to the Big Five and the dozens of other animal species found on the conservancy.

Accommodation: The Premier Suite is nestled in dense bush overlooking the Kuvenjame River and the majestic Drakensberg Mountain range.The magnificent views from the quaint private wooden deck will simply take your breath away. The Premier Suite's luxurious outdoor bathroom is situated in a secluded fairytale garden - the perfect spot beneth a canopy of stars, to reflect on the day's experiences.

The comfortable Luxury chalets, are nestled in dense bush overlooking the Kuvenjame River and the majestic Drakensberg Mountain range. The air-conditioned chalets all have en-suite bathrooms with outdoor showers and private outdoor baths. The magnificent views from the wooden decks of each thatched chalets are truly awe inspiring. Each chalet is individualy decorated in an elegant African style, with each item of artwork having its own story.

Dining at Kuname is a special treat. A time to enjoy a kaleidoscope of flavours inspired by Africa but guided by the culinary traditions of Europe.

Rates: Chalets R2300 per person sharing. Premier Suite R2500 per person sharing. Rates include all meals and 2 game activities. No children under 12 allowed on game drives or walks.
