Amukela Game Lodge, now part of the Greater Kruger National Park. We are situated approx. 20km from Hoedspruit.

The last Rand-friendly "Big 5" lodge in the Lowveld. Perfect located between the Phalaborwa and Orpen-gate for daytrips into the Kruger park.

Amukela is owner-managed, and we can book Big-5 gamedrives & bushwalks (subject to availability)

Relax during the day in our pool, with an open view to the bushveld. Watch the game at our waterhole, during evening lightned with a spotlight.

The camp is built on a dry riverbed, overlooking a waterhole where game come and go all day long. Fully game-fenced to keep animals out of the camp.

Amukela accommodates a maximum of 8 people in 4 typical African rondawels, which ensures an exclusive time. African meals, such as braai, potjiekos and bobotie are served in our boma.

Rate: from R500 per person per night sharing, inclusive dinner and breakfast.
