KashaMongo Guest house is settled in Somerset West and provides acommodation with a stunning view to the Helderberg and the Hottentots Mountains. The name KhashaMongo finds his origin in the Zulu language and means: "peaceful home".

Tina and Kay Schmid entertain their guests with warm hospitality in an african styled atmosphere. The KhashaMongo Guest house loves to spoil guests with generous breakfast buffet and also superb dinners on request.

Enjoy your stay at the Khasha Mongo Guest house in Somerset West located in the center of the Helderberg basin and the gateway to the winelands around Cape Town. The guest house offers all the conveniences of a bed & breakfast accommodation. We serve a varied breakfast on the terrace overlooking the garden.

The guestrooms got access to the terrace and some offer the opportunity of self-catering. The verdant garden around the pool is the best place for having a typical african BBQ (Braai). Our Braai place is open for all guests to experience the art of a african braai.

The crystal-clear pool is temperature-controlled and offers a conveniently refreshing swim in the morning as well as a well temperatured bath at sunset. The deckchairs around the pool are available for a sunbath or a good book in the shade of the palms. Refreshments and snacks are available for all guests

All rooms are new renovated to fit our passion for hospitality and quality of the accommodation. The KhashaMongo Guest House is graded with 3 Stars by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.
