Orchards Farm cottages are situated in a litchi and mango orchard on the banks of the Komati River just off the N4 en route to the Mozambique Lebombo border post.

While the atmosphere is rustic, the town of Komatipoort and the Lebombo border post are only a 5 minute drive away, and a 10 minute drive to the Crocodile Bridge gate of the Kruger National Park.

Orchards Farm Cottages is personally managed by Linda and Doug Renecle who will do everything possible to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay.

Guests who do not wish to self-cater can enjoy breakfast in the cozy guest lounge and dining room off the main deck at very reasonable prices.

The raised deck overlooks the swimming pool and the river, and the grassed riverfront is a beautiful spot for viewing the abundant bird life, hippos and crocodiles, and to relax in a tranquil environment. There are board games to keep you occupied and a guest library at the guest lounge.

There are seven cottages with up-market furnishings, all equipped with a kitchenette for self catering. All cottages have en suite showers, air conditioning, DSTV. Toiletries, linen & towels are provided and cottages are serviced daily. Each cottage has a barbecue next to the cottage for private use.

Rates: Single from R470 - R545 per night. Double from R355 - R410 per person per night.
