In the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve (no pets allowed), The Beach Camp™ offers accommodation in cozy A-Frames or tents with comfy beds and mattresses in this rustic setting - right on the beach.

This unusual gem is nestled amongst pink granite boulders on the wild Atlantic Ocean where you can spend your days hiking or mountain biking around the reserve, fishing, bird watching, bouldering, exploring the rock pools, diving amongst kelp forests, or just unwinding in Chill Cove on a hammock - soaking up the sound of the waves while reading a book. At night - stare into the fire watching flames lick away at the wood or look up at the multitude of stars overhead. See how many shooting stars you can find and recycle your wishes. Bring along your favorite musical instrument and you may end up having an amazing jamming experience with like-minded people. Do be careful though, you may never want to leave...

The units have fitted sheets, pillows and pillow slips just bring your own sleeping bag or duvet. There could be a few emergency spares for hire though, subject to availability - don't forget to enquire when you make your booking. The Beach Camp™ is wind-protected with fisherman nets and facilities include communal ablutions with hot water showers and eco-friendly toilets, fireplace and equipped kitchen, typical of backpackers.

They also have a residents-only licensed bar.Enjoy complimentary tea or coffee in the morning while you sit on the terrace contemplating the mysteries of the ocean. Please note they have no electricity by choice.
