Umkhumbi Lodge is centrally located in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, with easy access to the wildlife areas of Hluhluwe-Imfolozi and Mkhuze National Parks, the endless sandy beaches of Sodwana & Kosi Bay, and one of South Africa's World heritage sites, Isimangaliso Wetland Park.

There is the opportunity to spot all of the Big Five and abundant birdlife.

We have 12 spacious en-suite rooms nestled in a secluded Sandforest in the heart of Zululand.

Each room has airconditioning, a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities for you to enjoy as you sit on your private veranda overlooking the bush where Nyala, duiker and even Suni roam. Each en-suite has its own bath and separate shower.

We are 35kms away from the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Nature Reserve.

Evenings are spent at the double storey lappa looking out over the magnificent sunsets of Hluhluwe.

Rates for 2012 are:

R950 per person sharing - on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis.

Children under 4 years stay for free, and children under 12 years stay for half price.

We can also organise game drives in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi, airport transfers (Durban and Richards Bay airports) and various activities in the area.
