De Novo Lodge is situated on the renowned Old Pont Rd, leading to the Umtamvuna river and Nature Reserve.

We have five fully equipped units for self-catering with a maximum of 4 persons per unit. Bedding and all kitchen appliances, such as a microwave and fridge/freezer, needed for a problem free holiday is, provided. There are braai (BBQ)facilities available. Towels and toiletries are not provided.

There are 40 different species of water fowl on the grounds. This includes white Mute Swans as well as the rare Black Swan and the Australian Ceropsis. Wild indigenous birds, gees and ducks visit on a regular basis.

The lodge is secure with an access controlled gate and safe parking. Each unit has its own security system. No over crowding and busloads of people.

We are “a well kept secret” because the units are situated behind a huge wild fig tree that shields them from the road. We are well situated as all the things worth seeing is 5min drive away.

Silver Strand, Splash Rock and Fisherman’s Rock is the main attraction. But do not forget the petrified forest, the Nature Reserve (where a new tree was discovered just a year ago), a Deck overlooking the gorge, Beaver’s creek Coffee farm and the Wild Coast Sun Casino is high on the list.

Sporting facilities such as golfing, (10 golf courses), bowls, diving, deep-sea fishing, surfing is available in nearby surrounding towns.
