Iketla Lodge is a small, luxury 4-star country lodge located near the Blyde River Canyon. It is the ideal base from which to explore the Panorama Route or as a stop over en-route to the Kruger Park.

Superb personal service, a convivial atmosphere and a maximum of 16 per night, ensures that you can live the meaning of “Iketla” - “to relax”.

There is no formal programme and you decide when you would like to take a walk on the 540 ha private nature reserve. All trails are well-marked and safe but you can also be accompanied by a guide at no additional cost. Some game species roam free and the birdlife is exceptional.

The lodge is located on a ridge with spectacular views of the mountains and valley. Accommodation is offered in 8, spacious and free-standing stone cottages. The cottages have en-suite bathroom facilities as well as private, outdoor showers. Cottages have private patios with a view, tea/coffee making facilities and roof fans.

Traditional South African food is served. If the weather permits, dinner is taken around the campfire in the Boma. The lodge also has a Swimming Pool with loungers overlooking the valley.
