Set in the tranquility of the enclosed and secured equestrian estate, Beaulieu, Midrand are Glenda’s Guest Suites. Upmarket, attractive accommodation at reasonable prices. Designed for the corporate and equestrian markets market, but suitable also for private use, our comfortable, immaculate, and welcoming rooms offer you peace and quiet, magnificent views, and the pleasure of watching wild guinea fowl, birds, spring hare, rabbits and chickens eat off our front lawn.

Each suite has its own private entrance, and place to work or relax in the privacy of your room or on the patios, with access to our gardens, the pool and children’s jungle gyms. Fitness fanatics can take a safe and pleasurable run or walk on our quiet roads. Our equestrian friends have easy access to the show arena’s and bridle trails. Our nature lovers can study many bird species in the garden and can visit Beaulieu’s very own bird sanctuary.

Our rooms have been graded “Highly Recommended” by the AA Quality Assured Programme and we are a member of NAA-SA (National Accommodation Association of South Africa).

The Suites:

We currently have 3 suites to offer:

Suite 1: Sleeps 2 or 3. A fully self-catering unit with full kitchen and full bathroom. 2 single beds, plus a sleeper couch.

Suite 2: Sleeps 4. A queen bed plus 2 singles, full bathroom, kitchenette, plus dining table and lots of room to move.

Suite 3: Sleeps 4 in two separate bedrooms, each with two single beds. A full bathroom, plus kitchenette and dining area.

All rooms are equipped with TVs (TV 1,2,3 & E), hairdryers, microwaves, fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee machines, irons, crockery, cutlery and other kitchen essentials. Bath accessories are available for your use and rooms are serviced daily. All rooms are non-smoking but smoking is permissible on patios.

Meals: Rates include a full breakfast but can be reduced should you wish to self-cater. Please note that we offer three types of breakfast: Option 1: Continental : left in the room to eat at leisure - pastries/breads, cold meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt. Option 2: “Heat and Eat” breakfast: left in the room to eat at leisure - fruit, yoghurt, pastries/bread, egg dish to be warmed by guest such as omelettes, rolled savoury pancakes, sausages etc. Option 3: English breakfast: brought to your room in the morning or served on the patio (depending on the weather) - fruit, yoghurt, pastries/bread, eggs, bacon, sausages etc. In addition tea, coffee, latte, cuppachino, biscuits, fresh milk, sugar, rusks, butter and jam are provided daily for your room.

While we do not offer lunches, we can arrange dinners – simple home cooked meals, and a soft drink. In addition, Mr Delivery is a frequent caller to the rooms and a selection of convenient shops and wonderful restaurants are all within 2 minutes drive.

Where to find us: We’re convenient to Midrand, Sandton, Fourways and Centurion but quiet enough for you to feel you’re out in the country. Being, less than 10km from the N1 Ben Schoeman Highway, linking Pretoria and Johannesburg, makes getting to us easy and convenient.

Within 5 minutes drive of the Guest Suites is: The Transvaal Horse Society, Inanda Country Base, Kyalami Race Track, The Castle Hotel and Conference venue, Kyalami, Kyalami Business Park, Kyalami Country Club and Golf Course, Leeukop Golf Club.

15 Minutes drive from us: Midrand CBD, Lonehill, Montecasino, Fourways, Gallagher Estates, Sandton CBD, Centurion CBD, Grand Central Airport.

30 minutes drive from us: Oliver Thambo International Airport, Lanseria International Airport, Pretoria CBD, Johannesburg CBD.

Rates: Single R480 per night, Double R380 per person per night sharing. Rates include breakfast. Deduct R30 from the price if you do not require breakfast. Dinner is charged at R100 per meal per person, including a soft drink.
